Notable transactions include ownership of Bluespace Self-Storage, the largest self-storage owner/operator in Spain; a large holding in MyPlace Self-Storage in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and a development partnership with Metro Self Storage, one of the largest operators in the US. FRC focuses on self-storage operating platforms and selective property portfolio joint ventures, domestically and abroad. FRC was the lead financial shareholder in Shurgard Europe and helped lead its growth to 150 stores.
